Nine CTAs Selected for 2013 US Open USTA President's Box Community Tennis Fundraising Initiative

May 14, 2013 01:12 PM

As a way to link the US Open to community tennis development efforts, USTA President Dave Haggerty awarded nine pairs of tickets to the President’s Suite at the US Open to the USTA/Midwest Section. The tickets were awarded to nine different registered CTAs and NJTL programs within the USTA/Midwest Section as a fundraising opportunity. Each organization selected is coordinating a fundraiser between March 28 and July 14, 2013 to determine the recipients of their tickets.

The tickets are awarded to each Community Tennis Association (CTA) with the understanding that the CTA will make every effort to secure the maximum amount of money possible for the tickets. The only way to experience the US Open President’s Courtside Box is by invitation only from the current USTA President. Each pair of tickets to the US Open President’s Suite includes:
1. Invitations for two individuals
2. Seating in the USTA President’s courtside box
3. Lunch in the USTA President’s dining room
4. Hospitality in the USTA President’s Suite during the session
5. Behind the scenes tour of Arthur Ashe Stadium
6. Access to courtside seating in Louis Armstrong Stadium
7. Access to all other courts at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center
8. Access to US Open bus transportation from Grand Hyatt NY
Congratulations to the following community tennis associations for being selected by the USTA/Midwest Section for this opportunity:
