Northeastern Michigan Tennis Association (NEMTA) is proud to honor Nancy Berger as the month’s featured volunteer.

Nancy has spent several years promoting adult tennis throughout the NEMTA. Nancy served as the NEMTA District League Coordinator for four years.  She coordinated singles, doubles and mixed doubles for beginning to advanced adult and senior players.  Nancy captained several local USTA League teams prior to serving as the District League Coordinator.

Nancy currently serves on the NEMTA Board of Directors as a Vice President.  She has served in other roles at the NEMTA level including the Adult League Committee Chairman position.  She is also a certified USTA official.

Nancy is currently a member of the USTA/Midwest Section Adult Competition and Leagues Sub-Committee.  As a volunteer Nancy believes that promoting tennis as a sport for life and enjoying the game should be the goal of all USTA programs.

NEMTA is grateful for Nancy’s involvement and being featured as this month's volunteer is a well deserved honor.
