
32 teams descended upon Madison, WI for the Midwest Tennis on Campus Championships, where seven teams sealed a bid to the Tennis on Campus National Championship April 10-12 in Surprise, Arizona. Michigan repeated as champions after defeating Marquette 26-17 in the Finals. Wisconsin finished third, while Purdue placed fourth.
Joining the Wolverines, Golden Eagles, Badgers and Boilermakers at Nationals will be Illinois who finished 6th; Ferris State who was named the Club of the Year and Saginaw Valley State who was awarded the Sportsmanship award.
Ohio University captured the Silver Bracket title after knocking off Western Michigan in a tightly contested 22-21 finals match, while Saginaw Valley State took the Bronze Bracket title with a 25-19 win over Michigan Tech. For more results from the tournament, click the link below:

USTA Midwest also gave out a pair of awards at the tournament, both of which went to the Ferris State University Tennis Club. The first award was the Club the the Year, while team manager Newlyn Wing received the Midwest Tennis on Campus Leader of the Year award.
