All 13 Districts within the USTA/Midwest Section, in cooperation with the Midwest Youth Tennis & Education Foundation, have selected 13 different junior tennis programs for the 2014 MY Gift to Kids Tennis fundraising campaign taking place October 1-31st. The campaign is designed to help raise support for local junior tennis programs in the USTA/Midwest Section.
All programs were selected based on their use of tennis to positively influence youth in their respective communities. The MY Gift to Kids Tennis annual campaign calls on tennis and community supporters alike to make monetary donations toward their local tennis program. Junior programs often rely on volunteers and donations to help maintain and grow the services they provide to youth in their communities. Following is a list of all programs selected for this year’s campaign:
- Barrington Youth Tennis: Chicago District
- Sports Diversity and Development: Central Indiana District
- Jimmy Clark Tennis Center: Northern Indiana District
- Southern View Kids Tennis: Mid-South Illinois District
- Lockport Youth Tennis: Northern Illinois District
- Alpine Regional Tennis: Northern Michigan District
- Tri Valley Youth Tennis: Northeastern Michigan District
- Serving Aces for Sarcoma: Southeastern Michigan District
- Jackson Area Youth Tennis: Western Michigan District
- Wilmington Area Tennis: Ohio Valley District
- Inner City Tennis Clinics: Northeastern Ohio District
- Findlay Tennis Association: Northwestern Ohio District
- Milwaukee Summer Tennis: Wisconsin District
