ALL JUNIORS: Please check your player records for the last 12 months!

It is important that you check all of your player records for the last twelve months to make sure that all tournaments are listed AND your total points in the Standings List for USTA/Midwest and for Northern Illinois District include your TOP SIX POINT EARNING TOURNAMENTS during the past 12 months.

For year end RANKING purposes, all tournaments from January 1 through December 31, 2009 will be included with your final ranking in USTA/Midwest and Northern Illinois District determined by the total of your best six tournaments.  Standings and ranking lists are not cumulative...you do not get your points continuously added to the previous total.  Many players and parents are not aware of this fact.  USTA/Midwest staff will begin work on the tentative rankings during the month of January 2010 for the 2009 ranking year, and tentative ranking lists for both the Section and District will come out either during January or February.  When this occurs, it is up to you to review your record and dispute any inaccuracies before the Final rankings are published.

It is a good idea to constantly check your player record during the year to make sure your points show up after each tournament you play, if applicable.  Remember, your points will not show up until the tournament director has uploaded all of the tournament results for the event, which should be completed no less than 24 hours after last day of the tournament.

When you have questions or see an error, please email your name, age division/gender, the tournament ID number, and what the problem is to greg@midwest.usta.com as well as copy Pam Delnagro, NITA Executive Director at pam@northernillinoistennis.com .
