Competition Training Center

NITA currently as an official USTA/Midwest Competition Training Center (CTC).  The training center is an opportunity for the top 12's and 14's players (boys and girls) in the district to train and practice together in a non-competitive atmosphere 3-4 times a year between September and May for several hours over a weekend. Locations for training sessions may be at one site all year, or rotate to different club rotations based on negotiated court availability for the program.

The CTC Administrator is Robin Henders, robinhenders@gmail.com. The new Head Pro for the CTC is Jeff King.  Players are extended invitations to participate in each session based on their USTA Midwest point standings and player record.

In 2010, NITA expanded the program to include older age divisions in the Junior Excellence program, using the same guidelines to invite players.
